Coming together

Today the zafus and zabutons we ordered arrived. John has finished the beautiful window frames, so we need to send for the shoji paper to line them. Things are coming together in the zendo! Many thanks to John and to all of those who contributed funds for the new zafus and zabutons. We continue to read Diane Rizzetto, chapter by chapter, practicing with each precept as she introduces it. Last week I received a kind note from Joko in response to pictures I had sent her. She wrote in her note: Thank you for sending the pictures of the zendo that you created in your home. It is serene and lovely.

I am planning to spend some time with her in March during spring break.
